Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve an antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The MXD4 gene belongs to the MAD gene family, encoding basic helix-loop-helix-leucine zipper proteins that heterodimerize with MAX protein to form transcriptional repression complexes.
MAD proteins compete with MYC for MAX binding, influencing transcriptional activation and repression.
Rodent studies suggest MAD genes act as tumor suppressors and regulate cell growth in differentiating tissues.
