DR3/TNFRSF25는 TNF-receptor superfamily의 구성원으로, 림프구가 풍부한 조직에서 주로 발현됩니다. 림프구 항상성 조절에 관여하며 NF-kappa B 활성화 및 세포 사멸 조절에 관여합니다. 다양한 death domain adaptor protein을 통해 신호 전달이 이루어지며, 마우스 knockout 연구에서 자가반응성 T세포 제거에 역할이 있음이 제시되었습니다. 또한, B 및 T세포 활성화 시 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 막 결합형 isoform이 주로 생성되어 림프구 증식 조절에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
