Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA-fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires heating tissue sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA, pH 9.0, for 45 minutes at 95°C, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
MUC1 (Mucin 1, Episialin, MAM-6, CA 15-3, PEM, EMA)는 대부분의 선상 및 관상 상피세포와 일부 조혈세포 계통에서 발현되는 대형 세포 표면 점액 당단백질입니다.
이 단백질은 다수의 O-결합 당쇄를 포함하는 점액형 세포외 도메인을 가지며, 높은 다형성을 보여 각 대립유전자가 서로 다른 반복 수(30~90)를 포함합니다.
MUC1은 대부분의 분비 상피(예: 유선) 및 90% 이상의 유방암과 전이 조직에서 풍부하게 발현됩니다.
트랜스제닉 MUC1은 모든 cebB 수용체와 결합하며, lactating gland에서 erbB1(EGFR)과 공위치하는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
MUC1 유전자는 7개의 엑손을 가지며, 다양한 스플라이싱 변형체를 생성합니다.
MUC1 단백질의 과발현, 비정상적인 세포내 위치, 당화 변화는 여러 암종과 관련이 있습니다.
