TRAM (TRIF-related adaptor molecule, TICAM2)은 TLR4의 MyD88-independent signaling에 필수적인 역할을 합니다. 혈관 내피세포에서 TRAM이 결핍되면 TLR4 신호 전달이 MyD88-dependent 경로로 제한됩니다. TRAM cDNA를 과발현한 내피세포에서는 LPS 유도 Trif-dependent NF-κB 활성화 및 cxcl10 프로모터 활성이 재구성됩니다.
