Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

EXD1 is an RNA-binding component of the PET complex, a multiprotein complex required for the processing of piRNAs during spermatogenesis.
The piRNA metabolic process represses transposable elements during meiosis by forming complexes with Piwi proteins, ensuring germline integrity.
The PET complex is essential for the PIWIL2 slicing-triggered loading of PIWIL4 piRNAs during secondary piRNA metabolism.
Within this complex, EXD1 likely acts as an RNA adapter and is an inactive exonuclease.
