Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The XRCC6BP1 gene encodes a protein amplified in glioblastomas that interacts with the DNA-binding subunit of DNA-dependent protein kinase. This kinase participates in double-strand break (DSB) repair, and higher expression of XRCC6BP1 enhances DSB repair efficiency.
Comparative studies suggest that XRCC6BP1 is a metalloprotease involved in mitochondrial ATPase biosynthesis. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
