EDG 수용체 패밀리는 세포 증식 유도, 분화 및 생존 조절, 세포골격 관련 반응(수축, 분비, 부착, 화학주성 등)에 관여합니다.
EDG-3는 심혈관계, 백혈구 포함 조직 등에서 발현되며, 다양한 G 단백질을 통해 ras, MAP kinase, rho, phospholipase C, protein tyrosine kinase 경로로 신호를 전달합니다.
