Annexin I는 세포질막의 내측면에 주로 존재하는 Ca²⁺ 의존적 인지질 결합 단백질 계열에 속합니다. Annexin I는 약 40 kDa의 분자량을 가지며, phospholipase A2 억제 활성을 나타냅니다. Phospholipase A2는 염증 매개체인 prostaglandins 및 leukotrienes의 생합성에 필요하므로, Annexin I는 잠재적 항염증 활성을 가질 수 있습니다.
