Target Information
Protects cells and enzymes from oxidative damage by catalyzing the reduction of hydrogen peroxide, lipid peroxides, and organic hydroperoxides via glutathione. May constitute a glutathione peroxidase-like protective system against peroxide damage in sperm membrane lipids.
