Target Information
PTGS1 (COX1, Cyclooxygenase 1)는 프로스타글란딘 생합성의 핵심 효소로, dioxygenase 및 peroxidase 활성을 모두 가집니다. PTGS에는 발현 조절 및 조직 분포가 다른 두 가지 이형효소가 있으며, PTGS1은 혈관 내피세포의 혈관신생을 조절하고 아스피린과 같은 비스테로이드성 항염제에 의해 억제됩니다. 세포 간 신호 전달 및 조직 항상성 유지에 관여하며, 대체 스플라이싱으로 두 가지 전사 변이체를 생성합니다. 이들 전사체의 발현은 사이토카인 및 성장인자에 의해 다르게 조절됩니다.
