Target Information
DDR2 is a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) involved in bone development and extracellular matrix remodeling.
It regulates osteoblast differentiation and chondrocyte maturation through MAP kinase signaling and activation of RUNX2.
DDR2 upregulates collagenases MMP1, MMP2, and MMP13, facilitating cell migration and tumor invasion.
It also promotes fibroblast migration and proliferation, contributing to wound healing.
