For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Susceptibility to tuberculosis (TB) in mice has been linked to the IPR1 gene, a member of the SP100/SP140 family of nuclear body proteins. This gene encodes a leukocyte-specific nuclear body component that acts as a transcription activator and may serve as a nuclear hormone receptor coactivator.
Alternative splicing produces three distinct isoforms. SP110 is the closest human homolog of the mouse IPR1 protein. The IPR1/SP110 gene product may integrate signals from intracellular pathogens with mechanisms controlling innate immunity, cell death, and pathogenesis.
SP110 expression increases after Mycobacterium tuberculosis infection and is required for Anaplasma phagocytophilum infection in human promyelocytic cells. Defects in SP110 cause severely impaired resistance to M. tuberculosis infection.
