• In direct ELISAs and Western blots, approximately 15% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse EphA4, EphA3, EphA6, EphA7, EphA8, and recombinant rat EphB1 is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
• Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of antibody (LAL method).

Target Information

EPHA5 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system. Protein kinases transfer phosphate groups from ATP to substrate proteins, mediating signal transduction and regulating cellular metabolism, transcription, cell cycle progression, cytoskeletal rearrangement, apoptosis, and differentiation.
The tyrosine kinase group primarily regulates cell-cell interactions such as differentiation, adhesion, motility, and death. Approximately 90 TK genes have been sequenced, including 58 receptor TKs (e.g., EGFR, EPH, FGFR, PDGFR, TRK, VEGFR) and 32 cytosolic TKs (e.g., ABL, FAK, JAK, SRC).
