For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

IGF1 (Insulin-like Growth Factor-1) is structurally and functionally related to insulin but exhibits higher growth-promoting activity. It induces cellular responses such as proliferation, differentiation, migration, and survival.
IGF1 stimulates glucose transport and glycogen/DNA synthesis in osteoblastic cells at lower concentrations than insulin.
In circulation, IGFs bind to IGF binding proteins (IGFBPs), which prolong their half-life and aid tissue targeting.
IGF-I activates the AKT signaling pathway, promoting proliferation and inhibiting apoptosis.
Mature human IGF-I is 100% homologous with bovine and porcine proteins.
Low IGF1 levels are associated with Alzheimer’s disease.
Defects in the IGF1 gene cause insulin-like growth factor 1 deficiency, and multiple transcript variants exist.
