Target Information
Mast Cell Chymase는 peptidase family S1에 속하는 chymotryptic serine proteinase로, 비만세포에서 발현되며 세포외기질 분해, 점막하선 분비 조절, 혈관활성 펩타이드 생성에 관여합니다. 심장과 혈관계에서 angiotensin I을 angiotensin II로 전환하는 주요 효소로 작용하며, 혈압 조절 및 고혈압, 심비대, 심부전 등의 병태생리에 관련됩니다. 이 유전자는 14q11.2에 위치하며, 다른 protease 유전자들과 클러스터를 형성합니다.
