This antibody detects endogenous levels of total NDUFB11.
Target Information
NDUFB11 is an accessory subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I), which is believed not to be directly involved in catalysis. It functions in electron transfer from NADH to the respiratory chain and is located in the inner mitochondrial membrane. The immediate electron acceptor is ubiquinone. NDUFB11 exhibits NADH dehydrogenase and oxidoreductase activity. Dysfunction of NDUFB11 is associated with linear skin defects with multiple congenital anomalies and mitochondrial complex I deficiency.
