Description:
The SN6 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD105 (Endoglin). CD105 is an approximately 90 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer expressed by vascular endothelial cells, some bone marrow cells, and activated macrophages. It is implicated in cell adhesion and embryonic angiogenesis.

Applications Reported:
Reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.

Applications Tested:
Pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometric analysis of the U937 cell line.
Use at 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test.
A test is defined as the amount of antibody that will stain a cell sample in a final volume of 100 µL.
Cell number should be determined empirically (10⁵–10⁸ cells/test).

Target Information

CD105 (Endoglin) is a Type I transmembrane protein highly expressed on human vascular endothelial cells. It forms an O- and N-glycosylated homodimer. Upregulation of Endoglin is observed in tumor vasculature and proliferating cells, making it a proliferation-associated endothelial marker. CD105 binds to TGF-β1 and TGF-β3 with high affinity, but not to TGF-β2.
