Target Information
CDC25A는 세포주기 조절 인산화효소(Phosphatase)로, 인간 세포에는 CDC25A, CDC25B, CDC25C 세 가지 유전자가 존재합니다. 이들은 세포주기의 서로 다른 단계에서 기능하며, CDC25A는 G1 및 S 단계 진행에 필수적입니다. CDC25A는 cyclin-dependent kinase CDC2의 인산기를 제거하여 활성화시키며, DNA 손상 시 분해되어 이상 염색체를 가진 세포의 분열을 억제합니다. CDC25A는 종양유전자(oncogene)로 알려져 있으나, 암 발생 과정에서의 정확한 역할은 아직 명확히 밝혀지지 않았습니다.
