Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
The HSP60 gene encodes a mitochondrial chaperonin protein that assists in folding and assembly of newly imported mitochondrial proteins. It may also function as a signaling molecule in the innate immune system.
This gene is located adjacent to a related family member, with a bidirectional promoter between them. Several pseudogenes are associated with this gene. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified. Mutations can cause autosomal recessive spastic paraplegia 13.
