CSI 005-17-02는 fibronectin에 높은 특이성을 가지며, 다른 결합조직 단백질(vitronectin, elastin, collagen, laminin)과의 교차 반응은 보고되지 않았습니다.
이 항체는 인간 및 닭 fibronectin과 교차 반응하며, Western blot, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation 절차에서 성공적으로 사용되었습니다.

또한 integrin-매개 세포 부착을 억제하고 fibronectin의 구조를 탐색하는 데 유용합니다. ELISA에서 thrombospondin과 강한 반응을 보입니다.
Epitope의 특이성은 120 kDa 세포 결합 단편(cell binding fragment)에 위치합니다.

참고: 항체 농도는 lot에 따라 0.85–1.15 mg/mL 범위 내에서 변동될 수 있습니다.

Target Information

Fibronectin은 230–250 kDa의 분자량을 가진 이황화 결합 이합체(dimer) 단백질입니다.
결합조직 및 혈관의 세포외기질(ECM)에서 불용성 형태로 존재하며, 이황화 결합으로 고분자 중합체를 형성합니다.

Fibronectin은 배아 발생, 조직 재생, 상처 치유, 혈액 응고, 숙주 방어, 전이 과정 등 세포 부착 및 이동에 관여합니다.
혈장에서 가용성 이합체로 존재하며, 세포 표면 및 ECM에서는 다합체 형태로 존재합니다.

Fibronectin의 발현은 특히 비소세포성 폐암(non-small cell lung carcinoma)에서 증가하며, 세포 부착은 종양 형성과 항암제 내성에 기여합니다.
이 유전자는 대체 스플라이싱을 통해 최대 20가지 전사 변이체를 생성할 수 있습니다.
