Product Specific Information
CSI 006-01-02는 type V collagen에 매우 높은 특이성을 가지며, type I, III, VI collagen과는 ELISA 및 immunoblotting에서 교차 반응이 없습니다. 또한 laminin, fibronectin, elastin 등 다른 결합조직 단백질과의 교차 반응도 없습니다.
이 항체는 human, dog, calf, sheep, pig, kangaroo의 type V collagen과 반응하지만, mouse, rat, guinea pig, chicken의 type V collagen과는 반응하지 않습니다.
Western blotting, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry(Frozen)에서 성공적으로 사용되었습니다. 특히 인간, 소, 개의 피부, 태아 소의 각막, 생체재료 이식 부위의 신생 조직 등에서 동결 비고정 절편에 대한 면역조직화학에 사용되었습니다. 조직 고정이 필요한 경우, acetone 또는 ethanol 고정을 권장합니다.
ELISA에서 Collagen V를 직접 코팅한 경우에는 결합력이 낮게 나타날 수 있습니다.
Target Information
COL5A1 유전자는 저풍부성 섬유성 콜라겐의 알파 사슬 중 하나를 암호화합니다. Type V collagen은 type I collagen이 존재하는 조직에서 발견되며, type I 및 type V collagen으로 구성된 이형 섬유의 조립을 조절하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다. COL5A1 산물은 type XI collagen과 밀접하게 관련되어 있으며, 두 콜라겐의 사슬이 조직 특이적 조합을 가진 단일 콜라겐 유형을 형성할 가능성이 있습니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (types I and II)과 관련이 있습니다.
