Product Specific Information
- Immunohistochemistry (PFA fixed): Incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues, heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes before staining.
Target Information
Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a member of the B7 family. Its receptor, PD-1, negatively regulates T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling. PD-L1 binding to PD-1 decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production. PD-L1 expression is abundant in many murine and human cancers and is upregulated upon IFN-γ stimulation, suggesting a key role in tumor immune evasion.
