Target Information
Wnt 단백질은 조직 항상성, 세포 운명 결정, 증식, 자가 재생을 조절하는 신호전달 경로를 활성화하는 분비성 당단백질 계열입니다.
정상적인 Wnt 신호는 Frizzled 수용체와 LRP5/LRP6 공동수용체 결합으로 시작되며, β-catenin 경로를 활성화합니다.
비정형(non-canonical) 신호는 Frizzled 수용체와 ROR2 공동수용체 결합으로 활성화됩니다.
Wnt 경로의 이상은 암을 유발할 수 있습니다.
Human Wnt-1은 370 아미노산 전구체로 번역되며, 분비 후 343 아미노산(42 kDa) 성숙 형태로 절단됩니다.
성숙형 인간 Wnt-1은 마우스 Wnt-1과 약 99% 동일합니다.
Wnt-1은 조직에 따라 canonical 및 non-canonical 경로를 모두 활성화할 수 있으며, 배아 발달 및 암 발생과 관련이 있습니다.
또한 c-Myb의 인산화 및 분해를 유도할 수 있습니다.
