- In direct ELISAs, approximately 10% cross-reactivity with recombinant human TPSB2 is observed.

Target Information
Tryptase is a serine protease primarily found in mast cells. It plays a key role in immune responses by cleaving and activating other proteins involved in inflammation and tissue repair. Additionally, tryptase contributes to blood pressure regulation and has been implicated in diseases such as asthma, allergies, and cardiovascular disorders. Structurally, it consists of four identical subunits forming a tetramer and is activated by proteolytic cleavage of its proenzyme form.
