Product Specific Information
- In direct ELISAs, approximately 5% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Frizzled-8 and less than 2% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse Frizzled-3 and Frizzled-7 is observed.
- Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
Target Information
FZD4 is a member of the frizzled gene family, which encodes seven-transmembrane domain proteins acting as receptors for the Wingless-type MMTV integration site family of signaling proteins. Most frizzled receptors are coupled to the beta-catenin canonical signaling pathway.
This protein may function as a positive regulator of the Wnt signaling pathway. It is widely expressed in heart, skeletal muscle, ovary, and fetal kidney, and also detected in liver, kidney, pancreas, spleen, fetal lung, and in smaller amounts in placenta, adult lung, prostate, testis, colon, and fetal brain.
