This antibody detects endogenous levels of total CD3D.
Target Information
CD3d is a component of the T-cell receptor/CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) and plays a key role in T-cell development and signal transduction. It represents the delta subunit of the CD3 complex, which, along with other CD3 subunits, associates with TCR α/β or TCR γ/δ to form the TCR/CD3 complex on the T-cell surface. Mutations in the CD3d gene can cause severe combined immunodeficiency (SCIDBNK). Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
