• Reconstitution: Add 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL of double distilled water (DDW) depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C for up to 1 week.
• For long-term storage, aliquot and keep at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g for 5 min).

Target Information

This antibody recognizes the 5-hydroxytryptamine receptor 1A (5HT1A, HTR1A), one of several receptors for serotonin, a biogenic hormone acting as a neurotransmitter, hormone, and mitogen. The receptor’s activity is mediated by G proteins that inhibit adenylate cyclase activity.
