Product Specific Information
The antibody detects a 55 kDa band corresponding to fascin on SDS-PAGE immunoblots of human A431 and HeLa, as well as mouse C2C12 and rat PC12.
Target Information
Fascin organizes filamentous actin into bundles with a minimum of 4:1 actin/fascin ratio. It is involved in the assembly of actin filament bundles present in microspikes, membrane ruffles, and stress fibers.
