Product Specific Information
- Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining using 10 mM citrate buffer (pH 6.0) for 10 minutes, followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes.
- After retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 minutes at room temperature.
- Suggested positive control: mesothelioma tissue.
Target Information
Mesothelin은 mesothelioma, ovarian cystadenocarcinoma, pancreatic adenocarcinoma 등에서 발현되는 분화 항원으로, 세포 표면의 GPI-anchored glycoprotein입니다. 정상 mesothelial 세포에서는 제한적으로 발현되지만, 다양한 암 조직에서 과발현됩니다.
Mesothelin의 proteolytic cleavage로 생성되는 megakaryocyte potentiating factor (MPF)는 megakaryocyte 분화와 혈소판 생성 조절에 관여하는 것으로 알려져 있습니다.
Mesothelin과 MPF는 암세포의 증식, 이동, 부착 독립적 성장 및 전이에 관여하는 것으로 보고되어 있습니다.
