Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, an additional desalting step is recommended (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7 K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
USP9X is an ubiquitin-specific protease that removes and recycles ubiquitin from proteins degraded in proteasomes. As a deubiquitinating enzyme, USP9X plays a critical role in tight junction biogenesis by regulating levels of the Arf6 exchange factor (EFA6), which facilitates tight junction formation during the establishment of cell polarity.
Located on the X-chromosome, USP9X escapes X-inactivation, and its defects have been associated with gonadal degeneration in Turner syndrome.
