This antibody reacts to human RSK1 only when phosphorylated at Thr359/Ser363.

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. Target Information

RPS6KA1 (RSK1) is a growth-factor regulated serine/threonine kinase that is involved in the MAPK cascade. It is thought to control cellular proliferation and differentiation through the phosphorylation of transcription factors. RPS6KA1 contains 2 nonidentical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including members of the mitogen-activated kinase (MAPK) signalling pathway. The activity of this protein has been implicated in controlling cell growth and differentiation. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.
