Store vial at -20°C prior to opening.

Assay by Western blot showed no reactivity to MBP.

Epitope tags provide a method to localize gene products in various cell types, study protein topology and complexes, identify associated proteins, and characterize newly identified or low-abundance proteins when protein-specific antibodies are unavailable.
Tandem affinity purification (TAP) enables isolation of TAP-tagged proteins with associated partners. The TAP tag typically includes a calmodulin binding peptide (CBP), a tobacco etch virus protease (TEV protease) cleavage site, and Protein A.
This technique is useful for analyzing in vivo protein interactions.
