Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.

Target Information
CDY2B encodes a protein containing a chromodomain and a histone acetyltransferase catalytic domain. Chromodomain proteins are components of heterochromatin-like complexes and act as gene repressors. The protein is localized to the nucleus of late spermatids where histone hyperacetylation occurs, facilitating the replacement of histones by protamines as the major DNA-packaging proteins. Two nearly identical copies of this gene exist in a palindromic region on chromosome Y, representing the centromeric copy. Chromosome Y also contains related genes and pseudogenes.
