Target Information

Endothelial cell-specific molecule 1 (ESM1) is a secreted protein encoded by the ESM1 gene in humans. It is primarily expressed in endothelial cells of lung and kidney tissues. Expression is regulated by cytokines, indicating a potential role in endothelium-dependent pathological processes. The transcript includes multiple polyadenylation and mRNA instability signals, and two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
