Target Information
Catalase는 모든 퍼옥시좀의 기질에 존재하는 헴 함유 동질사량체 효소로, 과산화수소를 물과 산소로 전환하는 반응을 수행합니다. 인간 Catalase는 C-말단의 네 아미노산(-KANL)을 통해 퍼옥시좀으로 이동합니다. 단량체 분자량은 약 61.3 kDa입니다. Catalase는 염증, 돌연변이 유발, 세포사멸 억제 및 종양 형성과 관련된 중요한 인자로 알려져 있습니다. Catalase 결핍은 아카탈라세미아(acatalasemia, Takahara’s disease)로 이어질 수 있습니다.
