Target Information

Hematopoietic cell kinase (HCK) is a SRC-related kinase expressed in lymphoid and hematopoietic cells and may play a role in some forms of leukemia.
HCK (Alias: DKFZp686D0638) is a protein-tyrosine kinase predominantly expressed in hemopoietic cell types. The encoded protein may help couple the Fc receptor to the activation of the respiratory burst. It may also play a role in neutrophil migration and degranulation. Alternate translation initiation site usage, including a non-AUG (CUG) codon, results in two isoforms with different subcellular localization.
