Target Information
CBS(Cystathionine β-synthase)는 heme을 포함하는 유일한 pyridoxal phosphate-의존 효소로, 특히 뇌에서 황화수소(H₂S)의 중요한 조절자 역할을 함. CBS는 serine 대신 cysteine을 이용하여 황화수소를 생성하며, 황화수소는 신경보호 및 신호전달 기능을 가진 가스트로트랜스미터로 작용함.
