Description:
The eBio1D3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD19, a 95 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein. CD19 is expressed by B cells during all stages of development excluding terminally differentiated plasma cells. Follicular dendritic cells also express CD19. Together with CD21, CD81, and MHC class II, CD19 forms a multimolecular complex associated with the BCR. Signaling through CD19 induces tyrosine phosphorylation, calcium flux, and proliferation of B cells.

This eBio1D3 (1D3) antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes. Recommended ≤0.25 µg/test (100 µL final volume). Cell number may range from 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test. Antibody titration is recommended for optimal performance.
Filtration:
0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
Target Information
CD19 is a member of the immunoglobulin superfamily with two Ig-like domains. It is expressed on all peripheral B cells and may also be found on myeloid leukemia cells. CD19 serves as a key regulator of B cell activation and proliferation, acting as a co-receptor with the BCR to modulate antigen sensitivity. Mutations in CD19 can result in hypogammaglobulinemia, while overexpression leads to B cell hyperactivity.
