TRPV1 (Transient Receptor Potential Cation Channel Subfamily V Member 1)
TRPV1은 캡사이신(고추의 매운 성분)에 대한 수용체로, 감각 뉴런을 선택적으로 활성화하여 통증 자극을 전달합니다.
이 단백질은 TRP 채널 패밀리(TRPC3, TRPC6 등)와 구조적으로 유사한 비선택적 양이온 채널로, 칼슘, 마그네슘, 나트륨, 칼륨 이온에 투과성이 있습니다.
TRPV1은 6개의 막관통 영역, P-loop 막 도메인, 3개의 ankyrin 반복 도메인을 포함하며, 고온 자극에 의해 활성화되어 통증성 열 자극의 변환자로 작용합니다.
또한 양성자 유입을 매개하며, 통각 신경의 세포 내 산증과 관련될 수 있습니다.
TRPV1의 발현은 주로 감각 신경절 내 뉴런에 제한적으로 나타납니다.
4가지 전사체 변이가 보고되었으며, 이들은 5' UTR 서열에서 차이를 보입니다.
관련 질환으로는 과민성 대장 증후군(IBS) 및 방광 질환이 있습니다.
