• Reconstitution:
  Reconstitute with 25 µL, 50 µL, or 0.2 mL double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
  Ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature. Upon arrival, store at -20 °C.
  Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4 °C for up to 1 week. For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20 °C.
  Avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
  Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

This intronless gene is expressed in the hippocampus and maps close to a candidate region for several X-linked mental retardation (XLMR) syndromes. It is conserved in primates, cow, and horse, but not found in mouse and rat. The exact function of this gene is not known, but based on its physical location and expression pattern, it is proposed to have an important function in the brain.
