Target Information
ACAP2는 Centaurin 계열에 속하는 수송 단백질로, 세 개의 ANK 반복, Arf-GAP 도메인, BAR 도메인, PH 도메인을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 ADP ribosylation factor 6 (ARF6)에 대한 GTPase-activating protein (GAP)으로 작용하며, phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate (PIP2) 및 phosphatidic acid에 의해 활성화됩니다.
ARF1에 대해서는 거의 활성이 없으며, ARF의 비활성 상태로의 전환을 조절합니다.
또한 ACAP1과 함께 phosphatidyl inositol (3,4,3) triphosphate에 의해 조절되어 PDGF 유도성 막 주름 형성을 억제합니다.
DNA 손상 시 ATM 또는 ATR에 의해 인산화되며, 폐에서 가장 높은 발현 수준을 보입니다.
