Mouse anti-Bovine IgG2, clone IL-A73, is a monoclonal antibody specific for bovine IgG2 and does not recognize other bovine immunoglobulin classes.

Target Information

Anti-Bovine secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for bovine (cow, ox) immunoglobulins. These antibodies are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of their specific targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility, allowing the use of various detection systems such as HRP, AP, or fluorescence. They also improve sensitivity via signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, secondary antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
