Target Information
DAB2 mRNA는 정상 난소 상피세포에서 발현되지만, 난소암 세포주에서는 감소하거나 결여되어 있습니다. 예측된 770 아미노산 길이의 단백질은 마우스 p96 단백질과 83%의 전체적 상동성을 가지며, 특히 N-말단의 인산티로신 결합 도메인 부위에서 높은 상동성을 보입니다. DAB2의 발현 감소는 난소암 발생에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 이 유전자는 처음에 DOC2(Differentially expressed in Ovarian Cancer)로 명명되었으며, DOC2A 및 DOC2B(double C2-like domains, alpha and beta) 유전자와는 구별됩니다.
