Target Information
Cardiac Troponin I (Cardiac-specific troponin I, TnI, Troponin I)는 심근에서 troponin C (TnC), troponin T (TnT)와 복합체를 이루는 억제 단백질입니다.
TnT는 tropomyosin과 결합하여 troponin-tropomyosin 복합체를 형성하고, TnI는 actin에 결합하여 근육의 얇은 필라멘트 내에서 위치합니다.
칼슘이 TnC의 조절 부위에 결합하면 TnI의 억제 영역이 actin으로부터 분리되어 myosin이 결합할 수 있게 되어 근육 수축이 일어납니다.
혈액 내 TnI 및 TnT 수준 측정은 심근 손상 진단에 중요한 지표로, 협심증과 심근경색을 구분하는 데 사용됩니다.
Cardiac Troponin I는 또한 혈관신생 억제 기능을 가지며, 유전자 변이는 가족성 비후성 심근병증(CMH7) 및 제한성 심근병증(RCM)을 유발할 수 있습니다.
