FGFR2 (Fibroblast Growth Factor Receptor 2)는 receptor tyrosine kinase 계열의 단백질로, 세포 성장, 분화, 혈관생성, 골형성, 근형성, 암 발생, 조직 재생 등 다양한 세포 기능을 조절합니다.
FGFR2 유전자의 변이는 Crouzon syndrome, Pfeiffer syndrome, Craniosynostosis, Apert syndrome, Jackson-Weiss syndrome, Beare-Stevenson cutis gyrata syndrome, Saethre-Chotzen syndrome 등 여러 유전 질환과 관련이 있습니다.
FGFR2는 다양한 조직에서 발현되며, 여러 형태의 alternative splicing isoform이 존재합니다.
