Target Information
DDR2 is a receptor tyrosine kinase (RTK) involved in bone development and regulation of osteoblast differentiation and chondrocyte maturation through MAP kinase signaling and activation of RUNX2.
It modulates extracellular matrix remodeling by upregulating collagenases MMP1, MMP2, and MMP13, facilitating cell migration and tumor cell invasion.
DDR2 also promotes fibroblast migration and proliferation, contributing to cutaneous wound healing.
