Target Information
A-kinase anchor proteins (AKAPs)는 PKA의 조절 서브유닛과 결합하여 세포 내 특정 위치에 효소 복합체를 고정시키는 기능을 가진 단백질군입니다. AKAP12는 이 패밀리에 속하며, 내피세포, 배양 섬유아세포, 골육종 세포에서 발현됩니다. PKA, PKC, phosphatase와 상호작용하며, 신호전달에서 scaffold 역할을 수행합니다. 이 단백질은 세포 성장 관련 단백질로, RII PKA와 세포 주변부에서 공동 위치합니다. 일부 중증근무력증 환자에서 해당 단백질에 대한 항체가 생성될 수 있습니다. 대체 스플라이싱으로 인해 서로 다른 두 isoform을 암호화하는 전사 변이체가 존재합니다.
