Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Cellular retinoic acid binding protein (CRABP) is a low molecular weight protein with two isoforms, CRABP1 and CRABP2.
Human CRABP1 and CRABP2 show 99.3% and 93.5% sequence identity to mouse CRABP1 and CRABP2, respectively.
CRABP2 plays a role in retinoic acid-mediated regulation of skin growth and differentiation.
The CRABP2 gene, located on human chromosome 1q21.3, is transcriptionally regulated by a newly synthesized regulatory protein and is expressed in adult human liver.
