Regulatory associated protein of mTOR (RAPTOR)는 target of rapamycin (TOR)의 결합 파트너로, 4EBP1 및 p70alpha에 결합합니다. RAPTOR의 mTOR 결합은 mTOR에 의한 4EBP1의 인산화에 필수적이며, p70alpha에 대한 mTOR kinase 활성을 향상시킵니다. 또한 RAPTOR는 mTOR에 의한 4EBP1 인산화의 scaffold 역할을 하며 TOR 작용을 매개합니다.
