Target Information
EIF2B3는 eukaryotic initiation factor 2에 결합된 GDP를 GTP로 교환하는 반응을 촉매하는 효소입니다. eIF2B의 다섯 개 서브유닛 중 하나인 subunit 3의 변이는 백질 소실성 뇌병증(leukoencephalopathy with vanishing white matter)을 유발할 수 있습니다. 또한, EIF2B3는 C형 간염 바이러스의 internal ribosome entry site 매개 번역의 보조인자로도 알려져 있습니다.
